Commissions: With the advent of the second Vatican Council, much emphasis was placed on the role and involvement of all Catholics in the work of the Church. In order to provide more opportunities for parishioners to be involved in the activities within St. Pius X, the Pastoral Council has identified six commissions that address major areas of parish life.

Spiritual Enhancement

Daily Rosary: Is recited in the Church at 8:05am prior to 8:30am daily Mass Monday through Friday.

Adoration: 1st Friday, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, starts after 8:30 am Mass in the Day chapel and ends at 5:00pm.

The Holy Family Apostolate of Prayer: The group is parishioners, young and "more experienced", who spend one hour (or more) a week in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament;to implore God's blessings for our priests and religious, for the return of our children, brothers, and sisters in the faith to the Church, and an end to abortion and euthanasia. Knights of Columbus: Meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 1910 Greensprings Drive. The Knights also provide a breakfast after 9:00 am Mass on every 3rd Sunday of each month. Saint Vincent DePaul: Takes requests and comes to the aid of people in need in Klamath Falls . For assistance or more information, or if you would like to make a donation, call them at 281-5345. The first Sunday of each month is Food Pantry Sunday at St. Pius X, you may bring any food donations to church and leave it in the designated baskets. Food donation baskets are in the Vestibule of Church at all times. St. Vincent de Paul Society meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 5:30pm at St. Pius X Community Room.

Adult Choir

Social Organizations

Men's Club: Is open to all men of the parish. They meet every 1st Sunday of the month after the Men's Club parish breakfast. The Men's Club serves breakfast every 1st Sunday of each month after 9:00 Mass, except during the summer. For more information, contact Ed Bickett at (541) 882-6170.

Golden Girls: Meet every Tuesday morning after 8:30am Mass for fellowship and small community projects. For information, contact the office at (541) 884-4242.

Altar Society: Meet the second Monday of each month at 6:00pm. Altar Society cares for the Sanctuary of the Church, sponsors the annual White Elephant rummage sale and the Christmas Bazaar. They also maintain the only Catholic Religious Goods Shop in Klamath County. For information, contact Robin Ferreira at (541) 882-7824.

Coffee Hour: Is a service coordinated by the Knights of Columbus after 9:00 Mass to promote fellowship. This is supported with donations.

Food Pantry: St. Vincent de Paul Food distribution is on Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:00pm. Contact St. Vincent de Paul on their cell phone at (541) 281-5345. If no one answers you may leave a message and one of the volunteers will return your call.
