Sacramental Services

Baptism: Baptisms must be arranged with the Priest or Deacon at least one month in advance. It is preferable that this be done during the pregnancy. One practicing Catholic godparent is necessary. A class and interview are required for both the parents and sponsors... As a general rule, Baptisms are celebrated during the weekend liturgies.
Marriages: Weddings must be arranged with the Priest or Deacon at least four months in advance. One party must be a member of St. Pius X parish for at least six months and practicing the Catholic faith. Couples must be enrolled in a marriage preparation class before a marriage date is set.
Anointing of the Sick: Arrangements for this Sacrament can be made. by calling Father Fischer at the rectory. Anointing of the sick is appropriate for serious surgery or illness.
Special Blessings: These will be announced throughout the year or you can call and make arrangements with Father Fischer.
Funerals: Please contact Father Fischer prior to making arrangements at the mortuary.
Reconciliation: Saturdays 3:30 - 4:30pm or any time by request.
Coming Home: If it has been quite some time since you have been back to church, please do not feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. We welcome you home! Simply call the rectory and make an appointment to see Father Fischer at 884-4242.
Parish and Ministries Support: Members of the parish are asked to register basic information at the rectory office and to support the parish financially. The use of parish support envelopes or contributions by personal check is encouraged.
